Re: Japan
I assme they were [at least] "moderately loaded". Trains in Japan have [big, burley] assistants to, literally ram people in tighter. This often causes fractures but, don't worry - they all have "nipponcare"

Re: Japan
i have seen videos of the conductors stuffing the trains full. Lets hope it wasn't 4 of those...that could probably double the death toll in that case.
The videos are kind of comical though if you haven't seen it before. They just push and every of space lol.

Its not looking good, Like you said the japanese gov might be holding back the seriousness of the nuclear problem. Now the official story is there is probably a "partial meltdown"....
Thats kind of scary them admitting to a partial meltdown, for all we know the thing is probably ready to blow up chernobyl style, or already has. That could be devastating!

Re: Japan
It's going to be a bit difficult to keep this secret considering we have a bunch of our elite Naval ships cruising the neighborhood.
One of them being the USS Ronald Reagan

I just have this bad feeling....these news stories are getting worse and worse...literally.
It started out as next to nothing, now they are frantically fighting a meltdown...
A few more news stories down the line what is it going to be

Despite the sensationalism of the press, I am keeping my tranquility UNTIL, the real bad news happenswhippersnapper wrote:Fourth reactor just blew...Big troubles now.
Total meltdown is REAL BAD NEWS
NONE of the containment buildings have suffered TOTAL meltdown
They SHOULD hold [like three mile island]
BUT, SO MUCH has "gone south" already*, I ain't placing any bets
* [except for Japan itself, it went east, 13 feet closer to the U.S.]

They have resorted to dumping water from hellicopters Desperation move?
Also, a certain ministry they have now doubled the legal limit of radiation the safety workers can be exposed to.
Because having to take so many shifts was slowing the process down. So they just increased the leve the workers "legally" could be exposed to.
States in the article its basically a suicide mission. sad thing is i wonder if these workers are being told that this will likely kill them!

Re: Japan
I agree with all of you, my heart goes out to Japan too. Mother Nature can sure lay a smackdown when she wants to.
Sri Lanka was horrendous too. We will not really know for years to come the extent of the radiation damage to the people.
