I'm a big time "Red Baron" fan, from Enemy Ace comic books to actual Blue Max Medals (Pour le Merite orders)
and vintage Flyer goggles and Sanke Cards of German Pilots. (photo trading cards from 1915 -1918)
I sometimes build 1/72 scale WWI biplane models from scratch. I used to fly control line model airplanes.
I used to build Estes Rockets, I still have them.
I have an Almost complete collection of MAD Magazines.
I collect old drafting and engineering tools like vernier scales and slide rules.
I share a 12 inch doll G.I.Joe collection.
I have a vintage firearm collection.
I do Easter Eggs, complete with doors and internal decor'. Either chicken or larger Goose Eggs.
insides of "Veronica's Egg" is filled with chunks of nice clear Baltic amber, symbolic of Lithuania.
Lithuania's flag colors are Yellow, Green and Red.
For 30 years I built childrens playsets or decorated story time rooms. Which included
fairly large scratch built styrofoam dinosaur fossils, lunar landing modules, and large painted murals.

Re: Some of your "other" hobbies?
My basement looks like house on the old Addams Family TV show.
A Suit of Armor, A standing Indian in full headdress, spear, leather shield, bone chest piece.
A pterodactyl skeleton with 36 inch wingspan, a beer can collection, about 20 guitars,
an old Black & white darkroom with enlarger. a modern twin monitor CAD workstation with 36 inch roll paper plotter.
a Chinese rickshaw with oriental princess, an Egyptian soldier with sword and shield,
a few wooden Samuri Katanas, 300 G.I.Joe dolls on shelves. a Peavy double stack guitar amp (like a Marshall).
my pride are 3 Pour le Merite orders ( medals ).
1 is a Godet (number 1) with Navy Blue and an oak leaves and 3 stripe original silver woven ribbon.
it is an unissued presentation piece in a clamshell velvet case.
2 are Rothe Wearers copies, in a light prussian powder blue enamel that are never issued,
but number 2 was worn and has cracked enamel. ( gun shown purchase 1975)
the other (number 3) has an almost complete gold guilt plating intact.
The Eagles (falcons) have extremely fine details and the tail feathers do not attach to the cross.
They cannot be called original issue pieces, because there is no "provenance" or history or papertrail.
but they can be identified as from the actual jewelry shops prior to 1930 by details and silver content.
This style PLM was typically Army or Navy. There were several hundred awarded, and many copies made
as a second or third piece, called wearers copies.
There are fewer Pilots awarded the PLM. So that style is much rarer.
WWI Pilots usually were issued PLMs from the jeweler "Wagner" and had a longer narrow cross.
which are harder to find due to counterfeits.
It's not likely I'll ever see, let alone acquire one.
I have other Imperial German awards, Iron crosses,
I has been buying from "Der Rittmeister" website
