Dear Mr Obama

Do you want to talk about your beautiful country, family, or dog? Would you like to say where you went on holiday or how you arranged the garden? Are you willing to tell us you girlfriend left you for a(nother) loser? Do you have ANY non knife-related topic you want to discuss? This is the place!

BTW, ever notice how people on the left constantly bandy about the term "Facist". Are such people unaware that Facism and Nazism are Socialist variants?

And no Mr. Veech, I've not forgotten you. My gripe is that you come over here to stir things up, and that made me a bit grumpy. We shouldn't forget what happened to TSF. That is not going to happen here. I believe you and most people here know where the boundries are. That I respect.
Natch, There are a couple reasons I respond to posts like this here. First off, I doubt there will be any type of rift like the one we saw with the TSF forum...this forum is weighed far to heavily to the right. I do respect your wishes to prevent that though...By sharing my opinion of the post I'm trying to bring an alternative view to the table. What I find to be truly disgusting is the exploitation of a disabled veteran to get a political message across.. :x I worked with people that had varying degrees of disability for a long time. The idea of someone like them (disabled) using their disability to reach peoples hearts in an attempt to influence their thoughts is reprehensible and would not be something they would be a part of. I get grumpy too. My thoughts and feelings are every bit as valid as yours. I'll continue to be a part of discussions of this nature as I see fit. There are people here that have opinions similar to my own....they have a right to be heard also.

I must have been watching a different video.
I DID not see anyone forcing that Gentleman to voice his opinion.
I DID NOT realize that being a wounded soldier automatically removed your right to have an opinion, or our right to agree with him.

:D No that was the same video I saw. Did anyone anywhere say he had no right to an opinion,or that he was being forced to do anything?? Do you think I'm entitled to an opinion? I think you are...This type of exploitation is the machine, not the veteran. I think Vanagas, throwing up something he thinks is relevent, expects a differing point of view. You people may be the majority here...but I'm gonna call you on the bullshit every time.

You hit the high points, although racism was a not a general characteristic but was certainly true of Nazism. While many of the means of production remained in "private" hands, central planning essentially removed the microeconomic consideration of market demand. Production then becomes an integral instrument of the state. Replace private ownership with state ownership in the above definition, and Stalin would have instantly recognized it as his brand of Communism.

Mr. Vanagas,

Don't worry, there will be more pics to come. The media will be taking shots of her that will make Britney jealous. Everytime that woman bends over, gets out of the car, reaches for the top shelf, there will be a camera looking for the morning dew, or mountain dew in my neck of the woods.

Best regards,

Yes. And isn't that the respect we should be showing to a vice-presidential candidate? I can just see some of you now out in the woods with a bead on some defenseless animal trying to decide if you should shoot it or fXXk it! I know!...shoot it first!

Mr. Cutnstuf,

How do you get from disrespecting a vice presidential candidate to killing and having sex with "defenseless animals?"

That's really weirdness!

Well, I'm a weird guy, and I appreciate you noticing  . Sometimes, most times multiple topics are running through my brain at the same time and get intertwined. But, if you think  about it for a moment, some guys look at Palin as nothing more that a brood hen, a milf to quote some. Something to drag back to the cave, fxxk, kill, and eat. I see her as a device to win over the Hillary supporters, just a shiney thing for the dumb fish to hit on.

Not a dumb move, but if it gets him elected, we'll deserve exactly what we get

No. I expect that's what it means to you. Just wanted to put it in terms your lymbic system could deal with. As to hugging trees, you might try it some time. Remember that they produce the oxygen you breath...or did you even know that?

ps: Limbic System: The limbic system, often referred to as the "emotional brain", is found buried within the cerebrum. Like the cerebellum, evolutionarily the structure is rather old.
