Current EDC - What's in YOUR Pocket?
OK guys, submitted for your approval:
This is another of my recent buys while in TN. It really is kind of plain and not too notable other than to say it is mainly a work knife. I've been carrying it for a few days now and although it is very useful, a bit bulky in my pocket.
Overall length is 7 1/2" with a 3 1/4" blade. A bit thick at 5/8." The body of the knife appears to be a rubber/plastic of some type with a clip on the back. It has a hidden button, but with the prominent and obvious safety, it isn't too hard to figure it out. The safety is very good btw. It "clicks" into place sort of and seems quite reliable. I really like how hard and fast this knife opens. Slight play in the blade, but minor really. Nicely ground blade is plenty sharp. The tang is stamped USA, but I have no idea who made this knife or where. If anybody knows please clue me in.

Here's my latest edc.
I alternate between this ,my Delta Z , and Protech runt.
This guy is slowly taking over as a favorite.
It's inexspensive , well made and a great worker.
When Schrade closed it's doors , Taylor cutlery bought the name along with all the rights , trademarks etc , they also bought the Smith and Wesson line of auto knives.
These are made in taiwan ,but come through with a nice edge ,mirror polished blade and are well constructed.
it's coil fired and has a safety similar to the ones on the boker mags ,but improved and it works.
Anyway it's been going through the tests for about three weeks now , and for a $50.00 knife it works like a champ.
The scales are ugly ,I'm in the process of making some molded light blue pearlex scales to replace the originals.
Lately I've been carrying a Cold Steel Ti-Lite. I love these things! Legal to carry and they're faster than the devil...working much like the "wave" invented by Emerson, the ear snags the corner of your pocket on the way out...so as soon as it's drawn it's already locked open! Great knife to play with, and regardless of heckling, it's easier on the pockets than you'd think
