Re: At Last, Johnny Cade's Switch!! The Outsiders
It is a generic marking found on quite a few knives.

I'm not sure quite I follow. what part is generic? the tang stamp or blade stamp? both? its seems rare to find one that has made in germany on the rear tang with that scheff on the blade . have you seen others with this configuration? I am very curious. thanks for any info

The made in Germany stamp is generic. The blade marking was applied after the knife was built.

Hello there. I I'm new to the Talk blade forum. Gunner, pretty sweet knife! I have several myself. I know what ya mean about the passion never getting old! Iam always looking for old ones and keep having ones made. Love it!
Re: At Last, Johnny Cade's Switch!! The Outsiders
Hello Jeff and Chad! What do ya have to do to be a member of the Cade Club?Jeff wrote:Man thats a beautiful old knife in excellent shape Chad! Nice blade on it.
When I was learning how to find these knives and looking I kept tiring of google/yahoo searches sending me to you or gunner all the time at first Congratulations. I'd say welcome to the Cade club, but you began that club
Nice one Chad!
We have a lot in common and wish to communicate with you guys about these old Shellpullers. I have a handful of old ones and a larger handful of ones I've had made custom from our buddy Bill. Hope you guys are still around, I see this is an old thread.
Thank you!!
