One year in the back yard,
30 seconds on the belt-sander,
and it does this to the hair on your arm :shock: 8)

I got a buffalo skinner that looks just like that.

haven't put it together yet , when I do it will go nicely in the camping gear.

what grit paper do you have on the belt sander ??

Looks like a CS Hudson Bay, nice knives, but slightly too thin.

Very good job on that fixed blade!, particularly like the handle carving.

A close look shows my dubious contribution to the classic Buaffalo Skinner ;
Dual finger cut-outs
clipped poit
The advantages ? More grip positions. Better penetration in thrusting operation without affecting the basic skinning capability :wink:
