This is a 18" damascus bowie blade blank. It has a very nice pattern to it, a raindrop or birds eye pattern. The blade is 3/16 inch thick, this is a very thick blade. The blade itself is 10" and the tang is 8" long, so the total length of the knife is 18". This would be a very nice blank for a knife. It is hard to find high quality custom knives like this one. It is made out of high carbon 440 steel, with approximately 175 layers to it. The blade has not even been sharpened yet. It has an RC testing of 50-55. Great for making that perfect damascus knife.
