Abe-They are Italian made.Boker had a contract with Italian knifemakers to build these knives for them back in the 80's.This is what Bill told me in the thread i started in his forum. As far as function they both fire Great and lock up tight like they should. The Horn scaled one will fly out of your hand if you are not holding on tight. The fit and finish is nice on both pieces
I've never handled any of the Boker Swingers. Outside of the blade style, they appear to be same build as the Italian. I was wondering because they say Boker,if they were also made as durable and to be used as the Boker LL's if someone prefered.
Those are nice magnum, are they widely available?

It always amazes me how these knives tend to travel in circles..I used to own that very Horn scaled Boker about 15 years ago...I always remember thinking what ashame it was that the front scale didn't match the rear one. Beautiful knives, Thanks for sharing the pics.

It is amazing isn't it to see how these knives get around I agree in that i wish the front scale matched the rear one on the Horn scaled one but i like it anyway Thanks for your comments
