Customized Leverletto

Post by mr_edge »

Finally got around to doing this one this weekend...haven't had alot of free time lately. Replaced the bottom stock bolsters with solid hand carved NS stiletto bolsters. Also replaced the lever tab with a very modest hand carved NS one, NS pins as well. Reprofiled the liners to be more stiletto-like like Bill did with the original prototypes and as I feel the knife should look. Scales are dyed maple burl.

Great Job!!! I've got a couple of the kits waiting to be assembled, looks like I've got some inspiration. Now if only I could find the motivation....

Glad you like it Bill. Just trying to do justice to one of the best designs out there! But it pales in comparison next to my prototype of yours.
Thanks to all for the knids words.

Beautiful knife, Mr_edge. Love the scales. Your talent is growing. Well done. If you ever decide to part with it, you have my address.

That's a stunner! Is that the piece of wood you were asking for opinions about a while ago?

Really!

That is indeed the set of scales I was asking you all about. Looks a bit darker and brings out the contrast when finished. Thanks for the kind words.
