Hello! Some pics of my knives (lots of pictures)

Post by Ruben Calo »

Hello gentlemen,

Xarathos invited me in, so I'd like to introduce myself :)

Some of you might know me from another forums, but most of you probably don't even heard of me :D

My name is Ruben Calo, I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I've been making knives since 1993, after I got tired of office work.

All my knives are completely hand made. I make my blades using the stock removal method and sometimes I forge the edges of the knives to make a very ductile blade. I also heat treat my blades on my workshop on an electric oven.

I design my own knives and I don't use templates to make them or blueprints to replicate them, making each one of my knives a unique and exclusive one.

For more info and to see other knives I've made in the past, please take a look at my website at: http://www.calocustomknives.com.ar/

Feel free to ask me whatever you'd like to know :)

Best regards,

Ruben
