My new display set-up

Post by Mario »

I got this curio cabinet from some family last week as a house warming gift after my recent move. I finally got to display my switches, at least the bulk of them, in this beautiful thing.

First shelf contains all my genuine Italian knives along with a few Chinese knockoffs, a 15” manual Lockback from Edge Co, and a couple manual Japanese folders.

Second shelf contains mostly China-made knives in addition to a Pakistani leverlock, a Mexican Edge Co pull release switcher, and an old Sheffield straight razor.

Bottom shelf is mostly fixed blades including a couple United Cutlery trench knives, an old rusty machete from Czechia, a souvenir knife from El Salvador, an exotic dagger with a dragon for the handle, a punch dagger disguised as a belt buckle, a Japanese gravity knife and a damascus Pakistani leverlock switchblade.

On top I have a couple antique display cases which I utilized for my butterfly knives. I put some overspill in the drawers.

Don’t know if any of you spotted it, but that’s an old WaltCo Safe-T-Sheath knife behind that Frostwood handle dagger. That’s a Taiwanese paratrooper knife sandwiched between the damascus leverlock and the gravity knife.

Nice setup and collection, I can see you're in need of a bigger display case already. :)

Fine display case Mario with some interesting knives ,they all look great.

Like the balisongs as well ,you will need another display case before long I'll wager.

Thanks for the pics .

Great collection and display! You got a little bit of everything :)

Whats the shellpuller with humpback and flat button? Is it a custom piece?

Yes, that’s a customized AGA Campolin Calibro.

Mario

Any chance you could show a clearer picture of the Taiwanese paratooper knife and that Damascus leverlock ,out of the case

Never seen them before and they look interesting .

Thanks Mario ,much better with the vids.

I see now its a pantograph knife .I have seen them in brass over the years ,but I like the blade shape on this one .Nice looking knife with a cool opening mechanism.

I also like that leverlock with the camel bone scales ,I posted one some time back,it was for sale on ebay and it was very similar in build specs but not a leverlock .

I will try find the pic and show you .
