On a last note. . . .

I don't know how many various modifications I did . . I was learning new things.
and I was at work, so I would throw things on the photocopier. . . ( approx 1986 ? )
(no digital camera . .and I was not going to waste 35mm film.)

I was teaching myself.

I'd buy 2 or 3 knifes, keep one, trade one and mangle one.
I'd carefully grind away the nail nick to make a false edge or a swedge blade.
The last one I made came out really well, and had a lanyard bail. . .
I traded it for a Chrysanthenum stamp WWII Japanese Bayonet. With the big "J" blade breaker guards.
I should call up Chilly. . .and ask to photo it. . . but I fear rekindling the friendship.
His pals got me into trouble a few times.

This was around the time I was pen pals with Sheldon Levy (I have to find his letters and post them)
I'd see a custom knife in his news letter, and get all motivated, then quit and chase girls for a while.
Thenn I'd feel guilty and draw something for him ( before computers, he got "Real Ink on Paper" )

Here are two raw xeroxes. . .and the 3rd image is a photoshop paste-up (to make up for missing images.)

Great stuff Jerry! I've never seen so much info about the EdgeCo stilettos before. Once again you are a wealth of knowledge.

Thanks for all the info Jerry! Very helpful!

So my knife isn’t an EdgeCo but a later Taiwanese model? Got it.
