Re: AKC - Need information
Looking for any information on these knives. All of my searches on internet came up empty. These are both stamped AKC. Button open/button close.

I'm fairly sure it's a Catalana bo/bc. These are the ringpull models...

Here's an earlier Catalana I have. BO/BC, simply stamped INOX from the 1960's...

Thanks for the information.
Any idea of the age and value? Can these be Early AKC knives? The tang stamp is not the same as there current tang stamp.

I might compare them to the current going value of the Calatana - AKC stamps are murky at best and have been terminally polluted by Asian cloners to the point that some people won't go near the stilettos with the marking - although I've never EVER seen a clone of anything other than AKC stilettos or leverlettos - so I would imagine your Calatanas would retain their value assuming they're in good condition.Fredom Lover wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 11:23 am Thanks for the information.

IMHO AGA would be better off retiring the brand and it would indeed appear that they're reigning it in (9'' swing guards are marked AGA now..)
Knee-deep in the hoopla...
