It has no real value. You should just mail it to me so that it does not bring the rest of you collection down.

Congrats Jason, that is a great piece!!!

It is what it says. A prototype from right around the time the batwings came out. It may be the batwing proto or one that came out shortly after to look at other styles. It's easily 10 years old, maybe a few more. I almost bought that exact knife 5-6 years but lost track of the auction. I have this pic saved of the group it was part of. I'm bad about keeping exact information, maybe someone will know the story a little better then me.

cool knife and 1 of a kind . the knives in the picture were all Proto types of models they were going to make based on customer or forum feedback , there may have even been a poll set up to determine what ones would go into production.
if im correct only the batwing and oval button were put into production.
