I have thought about that but just finding an unmolested black one to have converted to another color is not only difficult but could be expensive proposition once the conversion is figured in. Also, I’m into original vintage pieces. The originals have the front scale embossed with “G David.” The custom by, Merlin that I bought came to me unexpectedly and at a very fair price.
