Re: RJ Richter
That's interesting. I don't know who did the conversion but I have seen some like it. Actually, one I saw had the blade turned into a dagger to get rid of the nail nick.
How do you fire it? Do you push the clasp towards the front which allows the blade tip to go past it?

Hello and.thanks.for looking.yes you pull down the clasp to release the blade and you sort of follow it down when closing with the blade tip.

Re: RJ Richter
Can you get a pic of the clasp when the blade is closed?
Re: RJ Richter
Cool knife. It looks like the mechanism made by Antonini.
Re: RJ Richter
Here is a picture of the blade closed.you close it until it hits the clasp and then lift the clasp and fold the blade at the same time sort of following it in.the antonini were the knives I was thinking of did they mak them in any other size than 23 cm?

Re: RJ Richter
Okay, I got it now. The clasp needs to always be moved manually. There is no clasp spring like in the puller piece on a pull-ball, right?
And what are these Antonini knives you guys are talking about?

Re: RJ Richter
Correct no clasp spring and has to be manually moved down to open and up to close.the antonini knives had clasps on them just like this one.ive never handled one but have seen one on a website in 23 cm.i believe there were some found a few years back and they were all rescaled
Re: RJ Richter
I didn't remember it looking that good. Neat mystery knife. Thanks for posting. Tom
