13" AGA picklocks circa 2003

Post by thom »

Here is one of each from a limited run from 2003. One French Tip and one Dark Horn. They are both very well made, straight with solid lock-up. D-stamped, 2 piece spring, 5mm blade/spring. Made by Angelo Sr. I believe the pictures at the factory were taken when these knives were being made.

Very nice. Your dark horn is very similar to mine. French tip is also very nice. I too still have COA letters. The factory pics are great!

Here is one that I owned. I regret selling it some time ago. Yours are beautiful. Thanks for the bonus photos!

Seems like the horn was prettier back then compared to now.

Beautys Thom! The COA with signatures and build pics are a great bonus too!

Nice one. Thanks for posting pictures.
The guy I bought from has more, both dark horn and French tip. If anyone is interested. Contact me for sellers information.

Ya, I'm always interested in 33 cm. Campolins, but especially the flat guards or regular. Please tell me who has some to sell, and knowledge of price if possible. Thank you so much. Jon Kuemmerlein Blackbelt1 dewclaw007@gmail.com P.S. I look for 38 cm. and 45 cm. Campolin too (no ring pulls)

TYDY still had some not long ago offered me bunch of them few months back but i turned them down as they were the left overs from 2003 that were defects he couldnt sell.
Also AGA put together some few years ago (13" picklocks) from parts left over from the 2003 run there were around 40-50 made in this run and being they were made few years ago none of them came with certificates like 2003 .

I heard a lot of them were bananad. The ones I bought were straight as an arrow. Nothing wrong with any of them. Probably the finest horn I own.
Tydy did warn me about the problem with them upfront . He was very honest. I am completely satisfied with the knives I bought from him.
