Royal

Post by roostershooter »

This is one of my favorite picklocks. a 9 inch knife that is tang stamped ROYAL over ITALY. The knife construction is quality like you find in an Edwin Jay or Coricama. I believe this to be a salesman sample. The blade is marked with what might be a model number on one side and other side appears to be a price. It was too light to get a decent photo of it. Has anyone ever seen another knife stamped ROYAL?

Nice knife. Quite obviously made by the Coricama consortium.
I have not seen the "Royal" stamp.

That is the only Royal stamp I have seen. I tried to look it up on the SD stamp database but the link isn't working. Does anyone know what's going on with that?

Very cool! It is definitely a salesman sample knife. I have owned them before.
~Can you show a close up of the stamp?
~Curious; what is the price on the blade?
