6" Omega Shell Wrap
Here's a little 6" Omega Import Co. Shell Wrap Picklock that our own Bill DeShivs did an amazing restoration on. Literally brought it back from the dead. Thank you so much Bill!

Re: 6" Omega Shell Wrap
There were no shell wraps on the knife, and it was very worn.

Re: 6" Omega Shell Wrap
Bill is being modest using the term "worn" lol. Here are a few before pics from the person I acquired it from. Much like the after Bill's restoration pics don't do them justice, the following pics don't truly show how bad shape this piece was in. The blade was bent, it not only had blade play, it had wobble. The bolsters were all dented. The button was dented. The safety was gone. The bottom half of the knife was crushed. It had no spring. Now, for the shell wrap...no traces of it. It was basically presenting Bill with 6" of junk and asking him to make it pretty. Amazing skill, talent and an apparent bit of magic involved with this restoration...whippersnapper wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 6:59 pm Is there a before picture? Wow now that’s a restoration if I’ve ever seen one. Such a transformation. I can only imagine how nice the knife must look in your hands.
