WW2 ANDERSON KNIFE CO FIGHTING KNIFE
WW2 ANDERSON KNIFE CO FIGHTING KNIFE. Pristine mint rare hilt section of Patton Sword that is was cut from. During WW2 the need for fighting knives was great. Surplus WW1 Patton Swords were gathered and cut into 3 pieces, and then fashioned into formidable fighting knives for our service men. This example is the scarce hilt section of the sword showing the hilt markings from the sword. It also survives in mint condition. A rare find indeed.
