Swing guard!

Bad weather, not much to do so.... Here are a few of my swing guards.... Must admit that the swing guard is special for me....

That S&W Model 29 is special. 6 1/2" barrel? I used to have one just like it, and a 6 1/2" stainless also. Nice knives too.

The revolver is a S&W Mod.29 .44 Mag 8 3/8....

The 629 is the stainless if I remember correctly. The 6 1/2" was not always made. They brought it back years later. Always had 6". The Dirty Harry gun was 6 1/2". I was mighty impressionable. To me 6 1/2' was perfect length.

I think I read somewhere that they used both 6 1/2 and 8 3/8 in the Dirty Harry movies. Different scenes, different lengths so to speak.

Very nice. Swing guards have always been my favorites. Have lots of questions about them that I will address another day.
