LEPRE SWING GUARD 2019

Post by john »

Hello Everyone,
The description below is from the 3knives.com website.
Lepre & AGA Campolin present a larger automatic knife with swinguard mechanism. This is a 10” - 25cm, 3,5mm thickness, 440A steel blade. All parts are nickel-silver as used in the old tradition of switchblades production. Selected pieces of stag horn united to the nickel silver parts and pins, give a touch of elegance to this knife. A collectable knife with an ergonomic shape thought for everyday use. Note: as it is a natural material, color, texture and pattern will vary from knife to knife. At the moment there are just 6 pieces available.

Overall Length:
25cm - 10"
Blade Length:
10,8 cm - 4.4"
Blade thickness:
3,5mm - 0.15"
Weight:
230 g. - 8.11oz.
Blade Material:
Stainless steel 440A
Handle Material:
European stag horn
Frame Material:
Nickel-silver
Made in:
Italy

This knife is all of the above and more. Excellent workmanship, the craftsmen who built this and I did a great job. Awesome fit and finish, the stag is amazing fabulous color amazing texture.
Fires open like a rock and it locks up as tightly as a vault door. No blade movement whatsoever and the guards do not scissor. Releasing the blade is just as easy as opening the knife simply lift up the rabbit ears and the blade unlocks.
Thank you for taking a look at my latest addition and as always your comments are welcomed.
Please feel free to add your photos of LePre knives to this thread. The more the better.
John
PS I have also included a few photos of my other LePre knives.

Hi Ian,
The multiblade hunter is my favorite of the four. I was told by the seller that it was made recently, but the parts were from the original run. Left over parts forgotten and assembled not many years ago.
Thank you, Ian, for stopping by and check it out my latest acquisition,
John

Beautiful Lepre! I never realized how nice these are. I really like the stag and the blade grind.
