It's a nice 11" picklock dagger kugr (Clark?). I'm hoping someone can tell you that "oops" can be repaired.

Oh, it's TRULY beautiful horn, and I'm surprised that "new" horn could possibly warp so fast/that way.

If it were MY knife.....
I would use a "C" clamp, padded with leather, to squeeze everything back into place.
Then, I would place it in an oven at no more than 250 degrees (use an accurate oven thermometer!) for an hour.
Then, I would let it cool to room temperature while still in the oven.
It might come out just fine. Might not, but if you don't overheat it-it won't be any worse.

Be careful- many ovens have a very wide temperature swing. They may get too hot while heating.
I use a small toaster oven with a big piece of thick brass in it to try to keep the temperatures steady.

Well, maybe I won't try it in the morning... gotta pick up a thermometer or find some thick brass first...

Beautiful horn scales. Why is it whenever I buy from AGA, the scales are never that nice? The 11" dagger blades are really nice, especially for the money.

Completely worth every penny... I'd place a wager that if you asked for something cherry picked they'd come through for you. I didn't ask, I rolled the proverbial random wheel upon checkout.

That's a beauty! Kinda blows about the scale pulling away though, and I'm sure it's an expensive knife.

Bill has guided us all on how to fix it. Once I've gathered the items, I'll think about doing it... then change my mind, it will go on like that for a while before I sack up and break out of my comfort zone. For now, I'm not worried about it, it's just going on display. As for cost... its cheaper buying the classic than buying 90% of the stuff off ebay.

I have done the oven thing before, and it works. I cooked mine too hot and a little too long. Straightened the scale, but slightly burned them. I asked after I did it. Live and learn.
Comparatively they aren't expensive. About $170.00??
Kugr, if you want to try again, I would buy that one from you.
