Hi Sammy, Angelo sent it from Austria. I think it took 6 days including the weekend. Pretty fast one!

I can't decide whether to laugh at the absurdity of the thing or to buy one. Maybe both! :|

LMAO! I understand Rick. I WAS going to hold off in hopes of finding one of the following, but figured this modern would open those nasty envelopes just fine lol...

Thank you as always for your kind words and thoughts Ian. As with many of my blade picture posts as of late, this one has also went over like a lead balloon lol. I thank you for always stopping by, it's appreciated very much. Hope you're well Ian.

Oh, that is a beautiful piece, thinking about one myself

Edit-took out a link that went to something that I thought would fit in this conversation, after looking at it again, I was wrong.

AZCK has a beautiful oldie, claimed to be from the '40s. Pretty cool, but very pricey.

Thanks for posting that Rick. "un-known maker", what a shame. Looks like it got a custom paint job(?).

Looks like thin layers of horn and celluloid to me. Almost has an Art Deco look to it.
