11" Stag - Rostfrei

Post by texans123 »

Hi Gents -

This one is the 1st Italian that I ever bought, the one that started it all, way back in the early 1990s when a few dealers at gun shows began selling them. Smooth action, locks up well, nice straight blade and no blade peek. Scales are very nice and I believe these a Sambar stag. Rostfrei stamp is different than my older examples. It was in new condition when I bought it and was listed as a new knife by the dealer. Any additional info welcome.

Best Regards -

Thanks guys, glad you like it. Knife has the 'feel' of a Frank Beltrame, to me anyway. Maybe the style of the Rostfrei stamping is a clue as to the maker.
