My late father's knife

Post by jlb664 »

Hello - I am new on this forum and I hope this is the right place to post my question - I have this knife which was my dad's but despite looking up lots of images I really am not sure if this is a collectable knife or not - just interested in the value of it and more information about what it actually is? Thank you very much. It is 11 inches long.

Hello jib664

I can't seem to get your images from the link in your post.

You can post pictures by pressing attachments at the bottom of the post and then add files ....you then select the picture from a source ie gallery or files etc and press on it ...it should download here and then repeat for more pics.

Look forward to seeing the knife and hopefully to give you some info.

Welcome

PS The file must be less than 900kb or it says too large.
I use my phone and post from there.

They came through just fine this time.

The knife is an italian lockback manual stiletto with a clippoint blade.
Rostfrei is german for rustfree or Stainless
Hardwood scales brass bolsters probably from the 1970s.

I cant give a value but someone with more knowledge of these here will.

Nice manual Ebony wood and brass goes well together thanks for sharing.
