Hi all. In my attempt to find more vintage pieces, came across this 9" EIG Cutlery picklock. I'm learning as I go and don't claim to know a darn thing. I would THINK, due to this swedge grind, that it's a later model. Maybe very late '50's/ early '60's(?). The EIG CUTLERY over ITALY stamp is NOT in an oval as I've seen some examples. The seller "said" that the blade was carbon steel (I have no idea). Obviously, the blade has been sharpened and indeed is very sharp. Naturally, the first thing I'd normally want to do is get some Flitz polish on a rag and start wiping! lol. Well...this is it...
