Custom Bone Hand-Made Switch by "Smallfoot"
This is an unusual custom hand-made bone-scaled switch made by "Smallfoot". Maybe he can shed more light on this post about this knife. The frame and bolsters are highly-polished Stainless Steel.
9/16/18 note: this is a replica of the Kabar Grizzly on a smaller scale...special thanks to JimBrown257 and SammyDaBlade!
9/17/18 note: I heard from "Smallfoot" on SD forum. He showed a link to his post in 2012, where this knife looked TOTALLY different! It is actually Stag, that has been polished a lot! That is a shame...The bolsters are Nickel Silver, the blade and kicker are 0-1 Steel.
Here's the link to pics from 2012: http://viewtopic.php?f=42&t=5805 Also, special thanks to "Bangie" for the advice that this knife is easier fired from your LEFT hand.

Great knife. And a dead on replica of the original Grizzly.
If you are wondering about the bolsters, a magnet can tell you if it is steel or NS.

I want to know if the original Grizzly has a button that pushes the whole steel panel on the back, like this one does!

Yeah, the button return on the original (and the recent Schrade knives) is just like yours. It makes it a little awkward to fire. I put my thumb on the button, index finger just above the button spring on the other side and then keep my other fingers from blocking the button spring. It is pretty easy to fire it that way.

Do you know who the maker is of the original larger Grizzly? I need the education. Thank you for the tip, Jim!JimBrown257 wrote:Yeah, the button return on the original (and the recent Schrade knives) is just like yours. It makes it a little awkward to fire. This is not easy for me to fire! It takes strength in the hand that I don't have...because I am not left-handed. It works better when fired in your left hand! Here is what it looked like in 2012: http://viewtopic.php?f=42&t=5805

Really cool knife. How long is it? I like the polished Stag.
