Re: Burn Knives my 1st
Anyone know off the top of their head what size t5 tool is needed? I don’t have a lot of tools, but I can pick one up.
Thanks in advance

Jay, T5 is the size of the Torx bit you'll need. You can pick up a set of Torx bits with a small driver to store them in on ebay, etc. I like Wiha, but any quality brand will do. I recommend holding the bit with your fingers, rather than using a driver. Gentle finger-tightness is all you need, and a driver makes it easier to either over-tighten or strip the tiny screw.JayAK80 wrote:Anyone know off the top of their head what size t5 tool is needed? Something like this inexpensive set will get you started: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wiha-75985-7-P ... .TRS0.TSS0

Lowes and Home Depot sell a multi-hex tool that is about $4.JayAK80 wrote:Anyone know off the top of their head what size t5 tool is needed? I don’t have a lot of tools, but I can pick one up.

Just be sure it's T5 Torx, not hex. Personally, I'd stick with precision manufactured bits, especially when working with such small sizes where the tiniest bit of slop can easily lead to a stripped screw head.

wow that is amazing, Purchasing a Burn is a goal of mine , won't be any time soon though a little out of budget , i would tend to go with a side opener however
