Falcon Angel

Post by JulesVane »

I acquired this 7" Falcon Angel (Campolin Family) manual/2-blade (1 saw blade) lockback recently. Seems like a nice little user if one were so inclined. Just figured I'd share a picture:

...though certainly not completely identical, I believe this design inspired the AKC Speed Hunter:

Tom, I would venture to say you sure do! Very nice collection of them! Thanks for that picture. What's written on the blades of at least 3 of them? Special runs?

These were made for several different companies . The ones with writing on them were made for fox and hound and say " Just another day in the woods". There were made for Browning under contract too.

I had noticed the same design on the Fox & Hound before, not realizing they were all made in the same place. Interesting.
Is the Maserin also made by the Campolin family? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Maserin-Italy- ... Swav9a57DJ

It seems the Maserin one is sold as a Beretta too:

Wow, so many names for the same design. Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke: "4 guys meet at a campground and compare pocket knives...."
Punchline: "They're all the same". Thanks for sharing all the info. Tom. Seems a very popular design indeed. I had no idea.
