Gimel*Bargeon Mini & Medium

Post by JulesVane »

I was never actually in a "hurry" to add a Bargeon to my collection, but I find that sometimes I'll make a purchase "better grab 'em while 'ya can" style. These Mini and Medium models became available. I don't believe they face extinction anytime soon, but all the info. I've gathered is that they were produced in France in the '70's and no longer in production. Besides the obvious choice in scale material and tiny/small size, the snap is strong, blades straight, NOS. Mini is a tiny 5.75" and the Medium comes in at a whopping 7.25" OALs. Actually the 1st pieces I've added that came in branded boxes lol. Any further history is always welcome.

PVK Thom. Every so often, they get in some stuff I don't see everyday. Check 'em out.

I had one of the metal scaled ones but got rid of it cause I didn't want anything French. Just pissed me off over Desert Storm, bailed them out in the big one and what thanks do ya get. Traded it off to a member, Topflite, hasn't been around for awhile and I got a couple of stilettos for it.
