When was the last production run? Must have been a real limited run. Even the 11" AGA Flatguard Picklocks in 2016 were only limited to 150 pieces.

Have some questions:

The blades and safeties are different on these. Were they made in different years?

All of these Walt's 13's by Renzo Pascotto are prototypes? They were never production knives sold on Walt's site?

How much $ were these when they were first available?

Any other info about these Walt's 13's would be appreciated!

Hi the very first proto types and first run were all flat button flat safety.

there were proto types and a production run

when first available the cost around 700 bucks

if you have or have seen the 13" AGA Wasp body picklocks they are identical to the walts as they are also made by Renzo Pascotto.

Renzo Pascotto proto types have his name ( Renzo Pascotto in cursive) the production runs have the anvil with (Pascotto Renzo) etch or stamp if you want to call it that.
So based on what you said- all of the Walt's/cat marked 13" knives I've seen by Renzo Pascotto have his name in cursive on the back of the blade, therefore all of the Walt's were prototypes?

I'm also a bit confused at the RP anvil stamp being considered "production". The knives with this stamp are exclusive ones Lucio hand picks to sell/keep himself right? The "production" run would be the 13" Renzo Pascotto wasps made for AGA, no? Although I don't recall any of the AGA's being flat button.

I too am wondering when these 13" wasps were produced, and specifically in what quantity for each stamp (Walt's, AGA, Renzo Pascotto anvil)

Boy, Pat, do you work at being confused? The only Walt's that say RP were the prototype ones. So far RP builds all the 13" Walt's and 13" AGA versions, but none of them say his name. Lucio does market some knives with the anvil and PR stamp, but they are not called protypes. They may be 1 of 1, but still not prototypes. These are the "production" Renzo's, and typically a run would only be 10 or 12 knives. Sometimes they get numbered, but mmm mostly not.

Haha, Dave I have been known to overthink things once or twice before.

I think what was causing confusion was I've never seen a Walt's 13 by RP that hasn't had his signature on it. These are the only ones I've seen:

Yours (amazing, especially the dagger!)

Elite

and of course the two in first post of this thread.
