Correction: designed and BUILT by Renzo Pascotto. That's his prototype stamp, Renzo Pascotto. The "regular production" (if there is such a thing) have his anvil logo and read "Pascotto Renzo" in the Italian fashion.

Those are great, I have a boxed one and I believe DonC does as well. You have two! Dang, that's amazing.

Incredible knives.
Great investments for the future and just beautiful in build quality and horn selection.
Cool blade shape on the darker horn and great blade markings .

Congratulations on these two stunners.

All the best

From where I live, I could drive to Walt's house in a couple hours and STILL can't get the knives our new friend Aliynk gets all the way in Turkey! Just gorgeous!

Stunning pair. When I got mine it was scaled in Ram's Horn. After I got Walt's approval I contacted Bill DeShivs and he replaced the scales wit Brazilian Horn for me.
Great score for your collection. They're spectacular pieces.

Those are really cool!

Have some questions:

The blades and safeties are different on these. Were they made in different years?

All of these Walt's 13's by Renzo Pascotto are prototypes? They were never production knives sold on Walt's site?

How much $ were these when they were first available?

Any other info about these Walt's 13's would be appreciated!

To best of my knowledge RP made all the 13's, only the early boxed ones had his stamp in addition to Walt's cat. Price was pretty much same as today. RP will soon be 80 and only making a few knives a year, all under his mark. If Walt's continues to sell, he will probably source from Frank B. Frank himself is also pretty much retired and his son Ivan is doing the building and daughter Sara is running the business.

Hi the very first proto types and first run were all flat button flat safety.

there were proto types and a production run

when first available the cost around 700 bucks

if you have or have seen the 13" AGA Wasp body picklocks they are identical to the walts as they are also made by Renzo Pascotto.

Renzo Pascotto proto types have his name ( Renzo Pascotto in cursive) the production runs have the anvil with (Pascotto Renzo) etch or stamp if you want to call it that.
