70th Anniversary AGA Campolin 11" Picklock
This is a follow up to Metalgod's post:
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=25228
(I bought the second one from the left.)
This is my latest addition, and while I typically don't go for regular production knives, this one was too good of a price to resist.
It's a has fully lined NS bolsters and comes with a nifty little black leather case. While I like all sorts of scale materials, I am a total addict when it comes to great Brazilian with lots of white and coffee streaks. I also prefer the front and back scales to look like they go together. This one was just too pretty to pass up.
The front scale caught my attention first.
But the back scale is even more stunning.
These 'top' and 'bottom' views really demonstrate how colors change when you cut into the scale. The liners are nice and tight and the blade is well centered.
Campolin has done an outstanding job with this knife and they are proud enough to announce it on the front and back ricasso.
As always, your comments, questions and criticisms are greatly appreciated.

That's a FINE piece Dave! I really love it. You got a great example of the anniversary edition!

That one really is outstanding. When I first saw it I knew it would go fast. They really put some nice horn on some of these.

Good looking example of why AGA is so well regarded. When I ordered mine my bank had trouble working with the AGA site so I ended up dealing directly with Angelo.
House is in a confused mess while having some work done so no photos for a bit but I'll get them up shortly.
