Yep, that's mine and they don't seem to be very common and it would be worth repairing one.

As I suspected, the backspring was broken at the pin hole.
No problem, it has a new backspring now!

There is no way to assess blade peek until all new springs are installed and the knife is fully assembled.
A certain amount of peek is to be expected on these. It can be fixed, but it can be very expensive to do so. I elected to not repair the peek.

Great work rescuing this Bill .
i really like these japanese shellpullers and have been scanning for them since learning of 5
them when panzerfaust posted his example and the godzirra connection.
