M. ITALY INOX 11" picklock slightly restored

Post by exumer2687 »

When it comes to vintage Italians, I have a pretty strict no cleaning/restoring policy, unless necessary to repair the function of the knife. I made an exception with this 11" M. ITALY INOX. the blade looked like someone sharpened it on the edge of a pothole. I did my best to lightly buff out the horrible scuffs and grind marks without removing the bayonet grind from the blade, or the very nice deeply struck tang stamp. I managed to get a nice mirror shine and it looks a lot better than it did. The rest of the knife will remain untouched.

Here's some before shots.. it was rough..
