Dropped in an old Mom & Pop hardware store and they had a display way back in a corner with some used junk and found this little gem,It's a minty Boker in the box with silk bag, sheath and paperwork for 20 bucks. Made in Germany

Nice find!
Re: Latest Score
Definitely a great score.
Re: Latest Score
Thanks guys. When I saw it in the display I didn't know it had the cool box and stuff. The knife has never been in the sheath.

Great knife.
That's an odd thing to see engraved on a knife. Is this like NOMAC's tribute knife to celebrate a safe year?NOMAC Drilling One Year No Accidents

Seriously considering having the scales replaced with light horn or cream colored smooth bone. Any suggestions?

Viking
I'd leave as is.
This is a collector's piece and sounds a little bit above the norm.
I think the wood suits the knife and the whole package is untouched, and the scales being marked make it different.
You can probably find a bone or horn scaled boker but i doubt you will see many like this knocking about..
Just my thoughts mate.
All the best
