Very nice find there!!!! I love the old Japan stuff as I carried many of them as a teen......

I had 3 of these that I bought at Hill's Department store for $1.98 each in 1970 in East Liverpool, Ohio...only mine were lockbacks near the top bolster, I don't think they were Valor though, my brother still has his..I'll have to look at the tang stamp next time I see him....

Yep those are the ones I bought at Hill's Department Store...what is the tang stamp on them?

I put them away again but most are just marked stainless steel Japan

The two on the right say Valor 187 n and 187l on the back tangs, and as stated Stainless Steel Japan on the front on all of them.....
