An early Christmas present to myself!

Post by autoknife »

I must have been very good this year. These showed up today just in time. The first is a funky fulcrum release deerfoot style that is 8-11/16" open. I have a smaller sized version I bought in Reggio Calabria in 1997 while visiting my wife's family.

The next is a 33cm (13-1/4" open) stag bolster release with the flat ground blade with double swedge. Bolsters are nickel silver. It has beautiful matching reddish colored stag scales.

The last one is a 33cm (13-3/16" open) humpback coilspring. These are extremely rare in this size and this one is pristine.

 Whoa! I am super impressed with that hump-back coil spring number.
That must be the first one I have seen.
Amazing stag on the other 13.
Is the fulcrum release black/white? Very cool 8)

Those are outstanding. Santa was very generous. You must've been a very good boy this year.

Excellent additions, Mr. autoknife!
They are all outstanding knives, but the B/W scaled fulcrum release "hunter" is simply breathtaking! Wow!

Very nice! I don't often comment on these pictures but the coil 13" and shell puller are very impressive! You should have a very Merry Christmas !

Hello Autoknife,
Beautiful quartet, I'm a big fan of fulcrum release especially the type on your two shell pullers; I think they're called reverse fulcrums. I like the deer foot; they design is wicked cool. The stag and horn stilettos are awesome.

Thanks all, but I don't deserve much credit for my taste when it comes to these. I was just lucky enough to find a nice group that happened to include a couple really rare knives in unused condition. I find far more dogs than treasures! :O)
