Bill DeShivs Master Cutler

Post by Jeff »

My wife contacted Bill DeShivs and they planned a special knife for him to make for me from her.
The only thing that means more to me than this knife is her.
Bill's work has gone beyond perfect on this one!
Thank you Lynn thank you Bill.
I prefer a blade nick on my German pullers Aside from all the intricate details two stand outs are the coined bolsters and the very high grade quality white mother of pearl he used. So much blue green and red outside of pics, it's brilliant.
The snap and feel are amazing.I've only dreamed of having a knife this nice and I am still in shock! :o  :o  :o  :o

Outstanding! Both are exquisite. I like the way Bill beveled the bottom of the two front scales on the MOP and the coining is just classy period.
The nail nick is cool old school

He did some coining on the Leverletto he did for me and it's just so cool.

Congrats Jeff, that has to be the cream-of-the-crop in your collection.
(not sure if I would even want to handle it)

Sometimes just the little details trip my trigger. The brass pins on that ivory is just gorgeous.
There is just something about that shade of white that makes the brass pins jump right out.
What a beautiful pair of Hubies :!:

It really blends with the nickel silver also and sparkles clear as crystal. It has a real kick too, it's the nicest knife I've ever held.

Hello Jeff,
Wicked awesome. The genuine MOP scales are to die for. Your wife, Lynn, has excellent taste in knives. Everything Bill touches comes out great.
