REMINGTON PULLBALL VERY EARLY MODEL

I scored this at the flea today stamped REMINGTON PAT. 11-9-37 on the front and the back has QUICK POINT ST.LOUIS this is the first model pullball REMINGTON made and is kinda scarce Its the first pullball I have owned and its a cool one at that

u pull the ball and the blade pops out? looks nice. never seen that design, i'll have to keep my eyes peeled.

modern BLAH! lol, I actually love the one that's posted! got the discoloration to the blade n all, looks old. i have some modern blades. probably about half n half, but i REALLY like the old stuff... maybe i could get a modern one and break the tip off the blade let it rust a bit n put it in a fire to get some smoke damage. y'all would probably disown me from the forum eh?

AL the ones you posted are completly differant than the pull balls .pullballs have a spring but the pullbacks as they are calling these dont they just use leverage to open the blade.also I see that these were made by EDGECO so I think they must be new old stock.

I should have said, similar in in OPERATION [pull], NOT MECHANISM type [spring] :oops:

But I assumed most of us knew that :wink: my guess is the "pullback" [requiring BOTH HANDS and ALL mechanical], was made, to circumvent, some legality somewhere.
But, that is only a guess.

I have had a few of these They come and they go. Made by Schrade I believe for remington... I like the ones with the little die on the end.

very nice.. i have a mint one somewhere in my mess,,,,its my favorite , has the die {dice} for the puilling mec....
also i had one with a eightball on the end of it.... :D

is this one an 8ball? what yr are these knives from? this one looks super old. that's the main thing that attracted me to it.
