Do you like a lot of "swirl" in your darkhorn

Here's a 15" stiletto I picked up a while ago.

there is so much swirl in the front scale, it almost looks like lighthorn.

It's pretty unique, and I like it...post up some of yours :)

That's awsome Roger, the guy that put that one together had a good eye.

Here are some pics of my "swirls",the 11" dagger on the far right has a pattern going right up the dead center but the pics don't show how cool it is. Same thing on the back of the knife,it's really a spectacular front/back match. By the way,it's a Renzo I just got from Bob at SD's.
The others are AGA Fishtails,Speed Hunter and two 9"ers,one is a Frank B and the other is unsure.
Some of the backs are better than the front, like the Speed Hunter and couple of the fish.
(click twice on the pix for a close up)

You will be hard-pressed to find another with that kind of swirl, that's what makes it so unique.
It lamost has a 'wood grain' look to it.
I have a small Jndiana swinger(they were calling them Medici's) that has honey colored horn with a white top similar to yours and the sides of the scale have a rich gold-yellow color almost like hard candy. The white swirls are only on the surface. It's one of my favorite scales in my collection.

Gramps....

Those barnacles probably came from the same bovine...hahaha..very nice indeed.

I bought this 15" sight unseen, and wasn't quite sure if I liked it or not when it first arrived. It was headed for the chopping block, but, i think I'll hold onto her for a while. :)

Everyone has thier own taste but I love the handles on that knife Roger,it would almost be a sin to remove them
A skull button would be cool

And Gramps, that picklock has some great swirls, you will have no problem selling that beauty.

I have several knives with nicer swirl patterns on the back than the top scale.
My Speed Hunter is an example, the top is almost jet black and the back has gorgeous streaking.
