Thanx all for the kind words. This one was alot of fun, and even more fun to click! I'd especially like to thank Nemo for running the mikov class over at K101 which was a great source to consult. I'd also like to thank him for producing all those sweet knives that serve as inspiration to all of us amateurs.

Mr_Edge,
That is one nice job you did on that knife, and the thumb release area is fantastic. How is it to peen in that small area by the bolster? Thats where I get my splitting but I haven't tried horn yet.
Great Job!! Make sure you show us the next one

One loves to possess arms, though they hope never to have occasion for them. Thomas Jefferson
Benny...Check your PM...hope it helps
Claudster...Thanx. Those little pins don't reqire alot of pressure I found so don't go nuts on them. Peen and file most of the pressure inside the liner side. I found horn most easy and pleasant to work with (if you can get past the smell of burning hair while on the belt sander!).
