My Burn Toothpick

Post by truthandjaney »

Here's just a few picks of the toothpick I had Paul build for me last year. It is a liner lock, blue titanium liners, Ivory scales, blue pau shell inlayed fire button, vine file work..even inside the channel, liners file worked too. An awesome deep hollow ground blade, and a short throw safety, all screw construction that have been heat blued. I had him work off the old Hammer brand toothpicks with the guards. This thing fires hard and locks up tight.

That toothpick is awesome! Excellent job on the filework too.How much larger is it than a Fixed Guard Hammer/Imperial?

It's approx. 9" OAL and had to be quite a bit wider, and thicker to have things fit proper. She has some heft to her for sure!
Thanks for the props, it's a toothpick on steroids, 21 century style. Paul really captured what I had invisioned, I couldn't have built it closer to what I had thought it would look like if I had his skill myself.
