Baron Elite
Finally received the new Baron Elite, Well worth the wait. I am very pleased with the quality and functionality of it. Went with the stone washed finish instead of the black coated , fits great in the pocket with a deep carry clip . Going to make a nice dress carry knife.

Way cool! I’ve only heard good reviews of the Baron.

I like that one and it looks like it would be great for EDC.

Re: Baron Elite
If anyone wants, I believe Perryknifeworks has this knife with black blade for under $180. Not pushing his website, just noting.
Re: Baron Elite
Yes Perry is a great guy. He had them at the Mystic show last week. Best USA price.

If I didn't already have the Pirahna Virus, I would be sorely tempted to purchase one of these. What a handy EDC for the well-dressed gent!
I REALLY like that knife!

I don't have any regular internet access at home (this is temporary). I have learned that I don't matter much at all. (Don't worry, I'm accustomed to being insignificant).

I have to return to work because the VA is going to reduce my total pension (including Social Security) to a total of $1336 per month.whippersnapper wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 3:48 pm We are all pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
Even with a college education, a 68-year-old man finds it difficult to find a position that will pay at least $25.00 per hour. This makes it almost impossible to earn a decent living.
I'm not happy. I have been looking for a job since March 1st and it isn't getting any easier.

What happened that they are reducing your payments?

Re: Baron Elite
I was receiving my Vietnam-Era Veteran's Pension ($1336) and then filed for Social Security when I turned 65 (on 12/01/2019) the VA didn't see this until Feb 18, 2023. I received notification of this on March 1st, 2023. Now they want the overpayment returned (that isn't happening). I'll beg them to stretch it out over 20 years, then my Veteran's Service Officer will ask for a Waiver of Repayment.
I'll have to return to work so that I can survive. I'm currently receiving $2145 (untaxed) per month (VA Pension + Social Security).
This will end soon. (I'm waiting for "the other shoe to drop").

That's a little more than I get but my home equity payment is only $100 minimum payment. I'm not living like pimp but I gets what I wants!Fishtail Picklock wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 8:12 pm I was receiving my Vietnam-Era Veteran's Pension ($1336) and then filed for Social Security when I turned 65 (on 12/01/2019) the VA didn't see this until Feb 18, 2023.
