Mozzetta Knife

Post by JayAK80 »

A big thanks to JTK/JimBrown257 for making me this great little picklock Mozzetta razor knife. I’m not a historian, but my understanding of the Mozzetta knife is that they became popular during the era in Italy when knives with pointed tips were heavily regulated and not allowed to be carried. If anyone has more info on the backstory feel free to share.

This knife is 20cm long with translucent green horn scales. It has a 5mm wide blade and springs.

Thanks for checking it out.

One last group...

The new one is 25cm long and has very beautiful Brazilian horn scales. The blade profile is also different on the larger knife.

I just want to say thanks again to JTK for really doing a beautiful job on these two razors.

As you can see in the pics, I started putting the stamp in one place but the decided to move it over. I didn't sand the entire first stamp away because the 3D effect looked kind of cool. I think I might have my next stamp made like that, which a second diamond slightly behind the main one.
