Here is one new vintage Swingguard.Ich got it two days ago. The front of the blade is "Made in Italy Inoxid". On the reverse side is "patent" The blade is 8.6 cm long with no guard.
20.5 cm is the full length of the knife.
The bolster is made of nickel silver.
I do not know from which the horn handle.
If you could tell me what it is for Horn, I would be grateful.
Can anyone tell me what the knife is worth?

Greetings from Europe
Re: New Vintage Swingguard Knife
It seems to be cow horn. The blade has been refinished as they came with a mirror polish finish and this has a satin look. They were made from the late 1970s to 80s and have a value of any where from $50 to $150 the high number for a mint one ( yours is not mint).

Cool old swinger!
I'd rather have a Bottle-in-Front-of-me, than a Frontal-Lobotomy!

Hello Rene nice scales on the swinger the swedge blade is my favourite style its a shame that someone has taken the surface off, it looks like its been ground / sanded
Guns for show, knives for a pro!
