Manual stiletto refurbish

Post by muskrat man »

Rebuilt this little 7 7/8" manual today. The tip was pretty bent and warped around, I fixed it before I took the "before" pic. I did some rope filework on the lockbar but it is very hard to photograph. Cleaned the blade up, and put on some horn with NS pins. I have a bigger 10 or 11" G.C Co. manual that is screaming to be rebuilt I think i'll make new bolsters for it maybe in a "flatguard" style with a twist or two of my own,; but got too much customers stuff to get finished first. Let me hear what you think. Thanks for looking

I would have thrown the knife away a long time ago.

Then I saw your finshed product picture and my jaw cracked cement the floor after it fell open.

Your talents are certainly impressive.

Wow MM, that's pretty amazing!

You'd never know that it was even the same knife! :)

Amazing! I love how flush the horn is with the bolsters. It's great to see that someone would take a knife like that and turn it into a masterpiece.
