Boker Matic OTF Auto Retract

Post by blackjack »

Anybody own one of the above knives, if so, any opinions. They have them at PVK for $36.00. Also, I cant tell by their description if its a dual or single action OTF, anyone?

Boker-Matic

Hi BlackJack!

The name Boker-Matic is kind of misleading. As I recall, the knife is actually opened manually by sliding a plastic button screwed to the blade in an angled track towards the front where it latches. It may auto retract, but I can't remember that feature on the one I had. Workmanship is mediocre IMHO, and it isn't an auto knife (i.e, not a true OTF switchblade). My 2 cents worth.

Had purchased one from the Edge Co. for $15us, a bit cjheaper then what Josh is asking. Not a great knife but more of a novelty, just like any otf in the same price range. IMO would still make a great addition.
