Italian folder resources

Post by mr_edge »

I've been hunting around for some sites that have a wide selection of italian folders. Anyone got any good links? Guess I'm broadening my tastes beyond the ones that go click.

This one is also worth a look. I just bought their Karambit (high quality Emerson clone) and their Ronxa (basically a pruning knife). They are currently bringing out lots of new stuff.

I also really rate Maserin which Al listed very highly. They make a small keyring model (the blue moon) which is super cool.

The Sandro Mariani stuff is relatively expensive and long waiting list - but I know a shop in Parma (Righi) that has some in stock.

Thanx again Milu. I've been really keen on the traditional folders lately. The italians have such a distinct style that I just love. May I ask, did you buy direct from Fox or a distributor/shop? I've been finding alot of the maker's sites don't really seem to do retail.

I buy direct from shops as I'm in Italy.
Let me know if you want me to translate/w.h.y.

I refound this whilst reorganising favourites on my browser. Thought it might be of interest.

Sardinia is the other big cutlery centre in Italy along with Scarperia and Maniago.

Thanx again Milu. Check out the size of this "Arburesa" knife featured on this site. Now that's a knife!
